Jim Worrell, CEO
With over 20 years of strategy development, management, sales and marketing experience in the IT and Life Science industries, Jim founded Pharma Services Network in 2003. Under Jim's strategic direction, Pharma Services Network is now a conduit for tens of millions of dollars in USA sales for its customers. Helping international companies improve their penetration of the North American market has become a passion for Jim as much as a career. Jim lives in Lake Wylie near Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and two sons.
David Worrell, CFO
Prior to joining AmeriStart, David founded Monterey Venture Partners, a Clean Tech venture consultancy and early stage financing firm. His business and consulting experience spans various industries, including: solar power, gas distribution, import/export, and information technology. David is a graduate of Ohio State University, the Sandler Sales Institute, and the E. M. Kauffman Foundation's FastTrack Entrepreneur Training program. He was twice recognized by DeLoitte & Touche as a "Fast 50" award recipient.
David has taught international business planning within the top-10 ranked MBA programs at Fisher Graduate School of International Business in California, and he was a regular contributor to the "Raising Money" section of Entrepreneur Magazine. David lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and her two cats.
Dr. Guy Worth, Ph.D., CSO
Guy has applied his advanced knowledge of chemistry, physics and biology to positions in energy, aeronautics and life science. In the 1980's, Guy was the lead scientist at Rockwell Rockedyne creating solar and fuel cell power systems for for satellites. Later he worked at the USA Department of Energy's Los Alamos Laboratory on the government's "Star Wars" high-energy laser experiments. And most recently, Guy moved out of the laboratory and into a sales role in San Diego's biotech industry.
