Jamie Belt's Biography

Background and Interests

Having over 15 years in the biotech industry, Jamie has held positions in all areas of business including that of Purchasing Manager for Scantibodies Laboratory, OEM Sales Specialist for The Binding Site, and Operations Manager for GenWay Biotech. As Purchasing Manager, she reduced cost of goods by $100,000 within one year and managed both the purchasing and inventory departments, overseeing and managing 13 employees. She singly developed and marketed the sales of human clinical samples for The Binding Site with gross sales of $600,000.

Jamie’s Father, James Reams, was a Master Chief in the US Navy. As a result, she was born in Jacksonville, FL. The family then moved and lived in Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma and finally San Diego, CA. It was in San Diego that she started her career in the biotech industry, which has now brought her to Charlotte, North Carolina, as the business development representative for Swiss Pharma Contract/Covance.

She has three children and five grandchildren. Her oldest child, Russell, became a certified EMT when he was 17 years old. He is now training to be a fire fighter in Chicago, IL. She and her daughter, Kelsey, and her youngest son, James, live in Kannapolis, NC. Her situation is unique in that three years ago, through a series of events she and her two children were brought together with another family, the Cloke family, a family of seven. Jamie is proud to say she is also now the mother of Nick and Jenna Cloke and grandmother to their five children (Christina, Chance, Iris, Nichole and Savannah).

As a young girl Jamie grew up as a tomboy. She loves cars and sports and fits right at home in North Carolina, birth place to NASCAR racing.

Jamie feels very blessed with the opportunity of working at Pharma Services Network and looks forward to many successful years at PSN.
