YMCA Corporate Cup

For the 30th year in a row, the Childress Klein YMCA and surrounding business community celebrated healthy competition - all while giving back to the community through Community Outreach programs! The corporate cup consists of a half marathon and 5K race.
Several employees from AmeriStart attended and took part in this year's corporate cup. They formed a team called "The Road Warriors" and ran throughout the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina. The team members from AmeriStart included Heidi Hillyard, Marketing Manager, Dick Tully, Account Manager, David Worrell, CFO, Jonathan Mark, Account Manager, and William Maxwell, Account Manager.
Habitat for Humanity

Due to increasing land prices and the scarcity of available land, Habitat Charlotte started researching ways that would allow the organization to best use its resources and serve more families at the same time. Since this project was a success, Habitat Charlotte plans to integrate townhome projects into its new construction model. The organization is currently working on a second project in the Citiside neighborhood.
Habitat Charlotte held a dedication ceremony for its first ever townhome unit on Saturday, March 7. The four unit townhome is located off Drury Drive in east Charlotte. There were a few of AmeriStart employees who attended and took part in building this townhome. The volunteers included Heidi Hillyard, Marketing Manager, Jim Worrell, CEO, Guy Worth, CSO, and Jonathan Mark, Account Manager.
